Hats off to Wallinger

Perhaps my favourite living artist - so glad he's won the Turner Prize.

His bear is pure genius, his Ecce Homo one of the most moving public art pieces I've seen in London - touching a raw and ancient nerve of latent faith in so many - but it'll always be Angel for me. I'll never forget having a room to myself in the Tate Modern for a showing of it. Sublime.
